Our Design and Implementation Process follows this structure:
Placement: By leveraging the multitude of mounting options, cameras and high resolution images, Cloudsteps can typically reduce down the number of cameras in a typical installation by over 50%.
Networking: As digital data capture devices, further costs can be reduced by leveraging any existing computer networks. To ensure quality of service, we implement network segmentation to ensure that no existing network based services are affected by the implementation. This is a step often overlooked by others.
Storage: All images are captured and retained in their original high definition format on a remote storage device that can be located either on premise or another location. Images can be retained for as long as required, subject to appropriate storage planning.
Presentation: Live feeds directly from the cameras can be accessed through most devices including computers, iPhones, PDA’s, smart phones and more. Each camera can be configured to email an alert image if certain conditions are met such as movement in a specific location during a pre-defined time window.
